Christian author, Oswald Chambers stated that, "Prayer is not preparation for the work, prayer is the work." Here at MVSDA Church, we believe that prayer works and that it is powerful. We are passionately committed to the ministry of intercessory prayer. One of the founders of the Seventh-day Church, Ellen White, wrote about prayer saying that, "It is a part of God's plan to grant us, in answer to the prayer of faith, that which He would not bestow did we not thus ask."
In additional to personal and devotional prayer, we have an active, intercessory prayer ministry. This ministry includes an email list for prayer needs, after-church prayer sessions, and weekly prayer meeting.
